Munich: Georg W. Dietrich, 1921. In series "munchener-KunstlerBilderbucher" , series of Jlugendstil fairy talke books. Circa 1921. Oblong small 4to, cloth spine and boards with oval color illustration in color and gilt. Patterned free endpapers detached and defective. Text somewhat browned; color plates with gilt on glossy paper are vivid. Pellar was a Jugendstil artist and stage designer, pupil of Lefler and Von Stuck. He joined the Darmstadt Artists' Colony in 1917. A scarce book and priced according to condition. Pictorial Boards. Good. Illus. by Hanns Pellar. Oblong Small 4to.
