Damp staining to the center of the first ~100 or so pages as well as to the top edges of the pages. Scattered foxing. Name on front free endpaper & title page. Rubbing to binding. Binding is still firm. Early chemistry textbook.

Robinson, Pratt & Co, 1835-01-01. Hardcover. Good. . 1833 edition. Full calf cover shows moderate wear and tear, rubbing and discoloration. Pages with minor foxing and tidemarks.

G- (Substantially worn along edges; front cover is slightly bowed; page edges are aged but surfaces are generally clear with only occasional instances of foxing.). Brown boards, gilt letters on spine, 356 pp., some BW illus. Title on spine: Comstock's Chemistry. An early chemistry handbook, yes. But it also includes pertinent questions at the bottom of each and every page. A nice resource for a science buff or professional to have at hand.

Hartford, CT: D F robinson & Co., 1830 First Edition. Illustrated with engravings. Full calf with red leather and gilt spine label. wear at the front gutter, some scratches, rear board nearly detached but leather still bright and pleasant in appearance. Light dampstain throughout top margin but pages crisp, clean and bright with virtually no foxing. Rear endpapers missing.

Robinson, Pratt & Co, 1835. Hardcover. Acceptable. No jacket, possibly as issued. The boards are heavily worn but are only lightly warped, with heavy bumping/rounding to the corners, top and bottom of spine, and some general soiling and wear across both covers. Spine is solid, and the text block is firmly attached. Interior text block is heavily foxed throughout, light enough that text is still legible but the entire text block is affected by it. Overall the text block is also is heavily toned, and is soiled along the top edge of the text block. Previous owners' name written in several places on first two pages. Jacket Condition: No Jacket. Size: 12mo - 6 3/4 in - 7 3/4 in. Year: 1835.
