Recipes include what you would expect from the period as well as food for invalids and some interesting miscellaneous items like venison jelly and cement for chimneys. Black printed covers, 57 pages plus index and ads. Covers heavily worn and separating, rear cover spotted, binding staples rusted, several pages detached with main part of text block separated from binding, some edge chips, pages somewhat age-toned but generally clean.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
