The complete work in three parts in a single volume. Half-title with vignette, title-page with vignette, and additional illustrated title (or frontispiece) at verso of half-title. Contains [iv] 624 printed pages of French language with many in-text engraved monochrome illustrations and three full-page maps. Peeling of the leather across the lower corners. Bumping and rubbing of the leather to the corners and across the spine ends, light foxing to the end papers, beyond which the text block is clean and without any age toning to the paper, the hinges are strong and sound.
