About This Item
This book is in good condition. There is some wear on the front, back and spine of the cover boards and edges particularly on the top and bottom of the spine. There is some light bumping of the corners. The previous owners stamp is affixed to the inside of the front cover board. His seal is affixed to the title page. The pages are beginning to yellow. The binding is tight and solid.
"Two important gatherings of the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion will occur in the Summer of 1988. Each will be concerned with ways to respond to new developments and concerns in the lif of the Church. The General Convention will hold its triennial meeting in Detroit, Michigan, July 2-11. (When will we do the sensible thing and meet more frequently, for a shorter time?). With the renewed sense and broader vision of mission now increasingly evident throughout the American Church, and the enthusiasm resulting from the growing practice of total shared ministry, the potential will be there for a very significant Convention." - Editorial, The Episcopal Church Annual 1988
