Charles Gabriel Seligman was a British physician, ethnologist and Professor at London School of Economics and was highly influential as the teacher of such notable anthropologists. Contains 30 papers mostly on the ethnology of Africa and Oceania, by his ex-students the leading anthropologists of the day. CONDITION Red verticle ribbed bds with bright gilt title (cnrs curved, not worn) pp vii 385 with 19 photo plates. Very bright and crisp copy, name in pencel to front pastedown. DJ has loss at spine ends and edge wear. Overweight. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
