This manual is Boeing Document number D-4142, stamped issue number 8626 with stamped date of August 1, 1944. Marked restricted throughout. Illustrated with colour and monochrome photographs, diagrams, schematics, etc. Extremely rare manufacturers manual for the most famous bomber aircraft of all time. Exhaustive in both scope and illustration, this manual details every system comprising the B-17 including: Fuselage, engines, electrical systems, armaments, empennage, etc. An impressive piece of military history. Light usual scuffing and rubbing to covers and spine. Original owners ink inscription to front paste down. A small stain appears at the very bottom of some pages throughout (quite innocuous and not intrusive upon contents). Some light soiling to edges. Several pages dog-eared at bottom corner. A Very Good, tight and crisp copy.Featured History.
