Undated circa 1920's. Philip, Janey and collie dog Leery spend time on Nurse's Uncle's farm where they experience the varied aspects of farm life of the day working with heavy horses and feeding the livestock. Good (Book- extremities of boards show shelf wear with nicks to paper covering of up to 5 mm at tail of spine. No significant soiling. Thomas Nelson and Sons No date stated. Cream colored boards with picture of boy on horse (repeated as frontespiece). Boards are well soiled, mostly back which has pencil marks and a few punctures. Endpapers are toned. There is some pencil markings and a picture of a bird on front pastedown (drawn presumably by a child). Bit of soiling on title page and last page but interior is mostly clean and binding is tight. Contains 12 color illustrations and many black and white ones. Possible first.
