About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1947. Second Edition . Hardcover. First printing of the second edition, revised and enlarged. Very good lacking a dust jacket. Multiple owner names on half title page, wear to blue cloth at spine ends and edges of boards. A few notations in the book noting when and where a species was sighted. Envelope taped to blank rear endpaper with a few newspaper clippings inside, rear hinge is a little loose. A book that has been well used over the years, signed by the author on the title page in blue fountain pen.
