A Bright & Early Book - BE 1 / c 1968 with publisher's code reading, '2 1169' on copyright page, likely indicating a second printing. $1.95 price on front flap. Pictorial boards. Boards clean and bright, touch of rubbing at lower edges. Spine clean and square, heel with light rub and gentle bump. Binding firm. Contents unmarked and clean. DJ not clipped, clean and whole, some light scuffs of discoloration along top and bottom edges. Edges gently rubbed, small closed tear at lower edge of rear panel with minor associated creasing. Nice copy of early printing. Photographs available upon request. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, published over 60 children's books over the course of his long career. Though most were published under his well-known pseudonym, Dr. Seuss, he also authored over a dozen books as Theo. LeSieg and one as Rosetta Stone. This was the first book I could memorize as a kid. I would read it each night, I loved it so much. It was so silly and was a true joy to read. My daughter is two and I'm sure she will love it too when I get her, her first copy. Oh the feet you meet.
