London: William Heinemann, 1937. First edition pp.xvi, 312, 36 plates, 3 maps, 1 folding. Rubber stamped Colonial Edition on front end-paper. A very good bright copy in original cloth. From the paucity of true first editions seen over the years we deduce that the so called Colonial Edition, identified only by a discrete rubber stamp on end-paper, was despatched before UK distribution.
