Green Cloth Covers with slightly dulled gilt lettering to spine and front cover; corners and spine ends of covers are very lightly rubbed; White endpapers have tanned slightly and uniformily; top book edge is stained green by publisher and right book edge is rough-cut; book interior is clean and tight; three interior pages have previously been creased; 8vo; 306 pages; indexed; dustjacket is protected by a mylar wrapper and is lightly soiled but creased and rubbed along edges; front dustjacket panel has creasing and closed tears along bottom edge with a small chip at lower left spine gutter and lower right corner; upper right corner of front dustjacket panel has a small chip and top edge shows rubbing and creases; upper and lower spine panel of dustjacket has light rubbing; rear dustjacket panel shows some water staining on author's portrait and some light wrinkling but book is not affected; lower edge of rear dustjacket panel has some light chipping and a small closed tear while upper edge has small chips at each corner
