1659 Thomas Fuller Good Thoughts Bad Times Worse Times Grief Bible Devotional 2v

Thomas Fuller was a 17th-century English historian who particularly notable for his historical accounts of English worthies and the Church of England. While he is much better remembered for his "History of the Holy War" and "Worthies of England," Fuller published a small but interesting collection prayers and meditations entitled "Good Thoughts in Bad Times". This devotional was so successful that a sequel was published with the title "Good Thoughts in Worse Times". The two books were written out of Fuller's own grief-stricken moments and were regularly read devotionals into the 18th-century.

This small 1659 edition includes both 'Bad Times' and 'Worse Times' in one binding.
