Chicago: Reilly & Lee Co.. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1937. First Edition. Hardcover. Yellow cloth covers with attached front cover graphic. True First, spine has a picture of Handy Mandy and NOT a fish. Covers are clean. Minor shelf wear. Strong corners. 6 or 7 small dark spots on for edge of block, top and bottom clean. "This book belongs to" filled out with place and date of 1937 in pen. A few pages (roughly 5) have smudges or finger prints. Pages are just slightly yellowed. Hinges are solid and block is in good shape. Jacket is nearly complete but with heavy chipping and crease lines. Jacket also shows surface wear but colors remain bright. Other books listed on back flap have been checked off in pencil (impressive collection). .
