Presentation copy inscribed by Miller to friend and French poet Théophile Briant dated 1/20/48. 157pp. printed on various colored paper. page 152 is an interesting chronology and bibliography of his life and works: His marriage, daughter, divorces, travel, books and manuscripts, when he met Anais Nin, Lawrence Durrell, T.S. Eliot, Dylan Thomas and more. Bound in gray paper covered boards printed and pictorially stamped in black and red, backed in light gray cloth, spine plain. Some darkening around the edges. A very nice copy in clear mylar cover without white dust jacket. [see Shifreen & Jackson; B29b].
