London: Broomsleigh Press. Fine+. 1978. First Edition. Hardcover. Beshlie is a well known author and illustrator of children books and greeting cards of woodland scenes. Signed books are extremely hard to find, since she lives the travellers life with her husband Dominic Reeve. This volume includes poems that span a quarter of a century, from the days of horse drawn waggon to elaborately decorated motorized caravans. Beshlie portraits the Romany life from the best of positions, that of an active participant. The book is very fine to mint condition, unread. Signed copies are hard to find and at the time of posting no other signed copies were available on the market. Flat signed by Beshlie on the title page. Making it exceptional, it is also signed by her husband Dominic Reeve to whom the book is dedicated, under his dedication. A near perfect and possibly one of a kind collectable copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

The book is in near fine condition, with the only defect being some sunning to the spinea. The slipcase in VG or better, showing some sunning. The book is signed by Yuri Kuyper and this copy is #212 of 250. The original LEC invoice for $4000 laid in; Etching; Folio 13" - 23" tall; Signed by Illustrator .

Description:
New York: The Limited Editions Club. Very Good. 1932. Limited Edition. Hardcover. The first of the special edition releases by LEC, released in an edition of 452 copies and signed by the Author WA Dwiggins, this being #280 of 452. Certainly, one of the harder titles to find in the LEC line-up. This was an issue Dwiggins felt very strongly about and he discusses the atrocities of design in currency and postage stamps of the time and proposes new ones based on those issued by the fictional country of Antipodes. This particular copy has been professionally rebacked, preserving the original boards. Boards shows some wear at the corners. The book shows not foxing, but occasional smudges on some of the internal pages. VG overall condition, without slipcase. A decent copy of a very scare title at an attractive price. PLEASE NOTE: Tracked shipping to USA will be $35 and to UK $20; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; Signed by Author .
