"Really intense and progressive people count the calories in carrots and the vitamins in veal and advise us to live on raw cabbage.This book is not for them,but for the bad lots who openly admit that they like the pleasures of the table and who enjoy life".

Signed by Rod Laver, "good luck, Rod Laver" on FEP. Written with the help of renowned colorful sports journalist and tennis broadcaster Bud Collins. Boards are in near fine condition, with very slight cocking. Dust jacket is near fine, no issues.
