This work is a parody critical of the mythological interpretation of the New Testament by D F Strauss in his 'The Life of Jesus'. Written by Richards Whately, an English academic, rhetorician, logisian and economist. Whately was a leading Broad Churchman and was an Archbishop of Dublin. He is credited as being one of the first reviewers to recognise Jane Austen's talents. In a recent quarter cloth binding.
