The perils of lose morals on a woman and her pain at cheating on her husband. TURN OF THE CENTURY, so horrid it was a major flob and considered pornagraphic. A Great and rare collectible book, excellent clean and right condition, has former owners name inscribed inside front cover, 278 pages.

All page edges lightly speckled. Front free endpaper inscribed in English by Elizabeth King, Manheim, Lancaster County, Pa., 1881. First Cent. of Ger. Language Printing in the USA, 2873. A scarce copy of a work associated with the Herrite branch of the Mennonites in Pennsylvania (the Reformed Mennonite Church), concerning the Sermon on the Mount. In Very Good Condition: lacking clasp; lightly rubbed; front joint more heavily rubbed but solid; light foxing throughout; pages are otherwise clean and tight.

London: William Mallalieu Anc Co.. Very Good. 1855. First Edition. Hardcover. Clean embossed blue cloth with gilt title on front cover & spine. Tissue protected frontispiece. Text's tight & intact. A. G. Spangenberg (1704-1792) was a German Theologian and minister and a bishop of the Moravian Brethren. As successor of Count Nicolaus Ludwig Zinzendorf, he helped develop international missions, as well as stabilize the theology and organization of the German Moravian Church. Light foxing. Page corners turned down. A few page margin marks. Moravian Religion ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 118 pages .

Keiseisha, 1909. Green cloth hardcover with thread-tied binding. Used- Good condition. Book shows shelf wear. Light scuffing on the edges and corners. Small tear on the bottom right corner on the back cover. Slight creasing on the spine. Light pencil markings on pg. 2-8, 31, 173, 175-177. No further markings on the inside of the book. Contemporary sprinkled calf with faint remains of gilt-tooled spine. All page edges marbled. Marbled endpapers. Woodcut head- and tail-pieces. Running title: Essais de Politique, & de Morale. Front fixed endpaper bears armorial bookplate of P. Daubignard with motto "Tacio quid mihi placet." A few words written in an old hand on title page. Translated from English by Claude Pierre Goujet; imprint is false -- possibly printed in Paris. ESTC, 213884. The second part has separate title page and pagination. In Very Good- Condition: front joint weak; back joint starting at head of spine; loss of leather at ends of spine; corners rubbed; very occasional foxing; otherwise clean and tight.

Contemporary full calf with six spine compartments between gilt rules; leather label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title "Journal of Job Scott." Early American Imprints, ser. 1 (Evans), 32810. Howes, S-228. Old inscription running vertically on front board. Inscriptions on endpapers and blank adjacent leaves containing family records for former owner Samuel Davis (1766-1809), his wife Sarah Leedom Davis (1764-1806), Ruth Anna Davis (1801-1846) (presumably their daughter), her husband William Chandler (1787-1878), and their 10 children. Burials are noted as being "at the Valley," at Kennett Square, and at Union Hill. Written in upper part of title page: "Friends' Boarding Haus Kennet Square, Pa." Job Scott (1751-1793) was an American Quaker travelling minister. In Very Good- Condition: leather is rubbed; minor loss at spine ends; light soiling throughout; some page corners creased; a solid copy.
