She includes the coincidence as "one of the amazing consequences of being a writer in contact with other lives..." She wants to know more about her correspondent. "I've always been told there is only one Levertov... family... so we are probably related... Do you know anything of your family's history. I would be very interested to know.." She notes she will be sending a collection of poems which includes some poems her correspondent mentioned ("Bedtime" and "Psalm Concerning the Castle"), among which is "a poem my sister Olga wrote before she died..." Also, she explains that "some references" in the poems "may puzzle you, so perhaps I should explain that my father was a Jew who became a Christian... and worked all his life to reconcile Jews and Christians..."
