The most complete treatise on meteorology!
Francesco Resta's 'Meteorologia' is a rare 17th-century treatise on weather and its effects on the earth. In this work, Resta sought to formalize many of his hypotheses about meteorology and prove his speculations about rain, fire, meteors, vapors and air, all through the lens of Aristotle's ancient treatise 'Meteorologica'. This book even discusses rainbows, earthquakes, oceans, natural springs, comets, and according to L.C. Claassen, this book was "the most complete treatise on meteorology then published!"
