Dark red covers with black and gilt lettering and simple decoration are lightly rubbed at the edges, ex-library copy with usual pasted labels, stamps and ticket wallet. Paper is split over webbing at internal hinges with some looseness in the front joint but covers are firmly attached, internal binding is sound, pages are clean but a little darkened.
