"...the somewhat unorthodox account of the pungent doings in some state governments as observed by a civil service stenographer." Octavo. Original tan cloth binding, with gilt titles. Previous owner's ink signature to the front flyleaf. The dust jacket is price-clipped, with some general edgewear, including a half-inch chip to the front panel, and a faint stain to the spine head.
