Tanned endpapers, minor biopredation on rear fep, and margin of Index, an important errata label affixed to plain verso of Contents page, otherwise leaves clean. Printed cloth boards nominally bumped only. Issued in 1924, for motormen and guards working with electric trains in the Victorian Railway System, numerous contents include: Definitions, Descriptions [Systems, Equipment], Circuits: Main, Compressor, Protective Relay, Dynamotor, Master Controller, Panograph, Traction Motor, Testing, Stabling, General instructions, more. This volume was published just five years after the first electric trains ran in Melbourne in 1919 . . . Book weight approx. 250g.
