Bruxelles: P. Weissenbruch, 1905. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover. Cloth Boards. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo. Blue cloth soft trifold boards with gilt title and emblem to front panel. Edges are worn and boards have minor scuffing. When unfolded, the insides of both right and left panels have pastedown pockets. The left pocket houses a large color fold out map of Washington D.C. The right pocket houses a large, color, fold-out map of New York City with an index including street names, places of amusement, asylums, steamboat lines, etc. Signatures are not sewn in; they are held in place by loose cording which wraps around both hinges. The signatures bound on the right are printed on pink paper and the signatures bound on the left are printed on white paper. Twelve signatures are present containing topics such as: List of Members, Questions for Discussion, Constitution of the Railway Congress, Instructions Concerning the Procedure to be Followed in Sectional Meetings, and various travel information. Pages are very clean with bright text; some have minor browning. Several pages of one signature are present but not attached. It appears that at least one signature may be missing. Closed tears to maps along fold lines. Text is in English and French. RAIL/062904.
