Genthe's tribute to Duncan, with 24 photogravure plates and published only two years after her death. First Edition. Signed presentation from Genthe on the front endpaper: "To Stella Wanger- with greetings from an old friend- Arnold Genthe, New York, 1929." Stella Wanger [1866-1931] is the mother of famous Hollywood producer Walter Wanger [1894-1968], who launched the careers of many famous stars, including Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda, and Richard Burton. Wanger's sister, Beatrice- a dancer, was the subject of some of Genthe's photographs. Very Good (some spotty light discoloration front cover, contents clean & tight). $500.00.
