Author's photo on the frontis of this second of his three volume autobiography. The green cloth cover boards are showing some wear on the corners. The dust jacket in a mylar cover is unclipped and has some chips on the top and bottom of the spine. The binding is secure and the text block is clean, unmarked mildly foxed. The author, Georg Heinrich Loskiel (1740-1814), was a Moravian minister from Latvia who came to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1801 to head the Moravian community.
