Slightly scuffed, touch of rubbing to tips, and spine ends. From the library of Julius H. Griffith (1865-1936), friend of Kipling and fellow student at United Services College (U.S.C.) in Westward Ho!, England. He is the father of Canadian artist Julius Griffith, with his pencil signature of May 1894 to first blank. SECOND JUNGLE BOOK: Pp. [vi], 238, [2] - publ. adverts. Title-page headpiece & vignette, 8 headpieces, 11 tailpieces, 16 illustrated initials, 2 illustrations within text.
