Interior fine, clean and crisp. These are the stories Kipling would tell his little daughter, Josephine, at bedtime. The title "Just So Stories," came from her telling her father to repeat the stories "just so". She died of pneumonia in 1899 at the age of 6, from which it is said, Kipling never really recovered.
