London: Macmillan, 1924. 8vo. Portrait frontispiece of Morris by Emery Walker, 16 plates. Original linen-backed blue holland boards, printed paper spine label. A fine copy. First edition, and a fine copy of this excellent study of the operation and history of the Kelmscott Press. The author was the son-in-law of William Morris between 1890 and 1898. He had married May Morris, but their marriage ended over her involvement with George Bernard Shaw.
