First Edition, with 1893 on the title page and no mention of later printings on the copyright page. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. The L 1,000,000. Bank Note And Other Stories, 260 pages plus 9 pages of ads in the rear of the book. Story is about two Englishmen who had two "one million pound notes printed by the bank of England, the story centers around a dispute between the two brothers as to how an American would behave should he fall into possession of one of the notes, there are other stories appearing as well for the first time.
