About This Item
Rinehart & Company, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Good. First edition. Edited by Carl Van Vechten. Pages are browned and unmarked except for previous owner's name on front endpaper and small margin marks in a couple places. Binding is cracked at title page and starting to separate at the top near back of book. Boards have moderate rubbing around all edges, especially corners and spine ends. Spine ends are crushed. Jacket is heavily browned on inside. One dried stain with a little surface damage on front of jacket. Moderate to heavy rubbing around all edges, with some chipping on spine ends and a couple corners.
