Beige-printed softcovers, salmon-coloured outline map of Montana on front cover, border in burgandy (minor chipping head & foot of spine, & to couple corners, minor dustsoiling), still VG- copy. First edition of this exceedingly scarce original and well illustrated report. The Montana Legislature in 1913-1914 codified a number of fish and game laws, and established the Game and Fish Commission in order to adjust hunting seasons, bag limits, license hunters and fishermen who were rapidly decreasing the numbers of game animals and fish, as well as try and legislate against water pollution through cyanide, and other pollutants introduced by mining interests in the State.
