Boston: Little Brown, 1941 Bound in red cloth with black titles in off white jacket with blue lettering. History of the Antebellum South, in regard to the institution of slavery, economics, immigration, etc., the winner of a 1928 cash prize from Little Brown for the best unpublished work on American HIstory. Jacket is chipped at extremities and soiled, inside cover lining stained. Large fold-out map in back nicely preserved as is the text. A better than serviceable copy.
