Previous owner's inscription, dated 1861, on front free endpaper. Slight chipping to edges of frontispiece. Pages are age toned, with spotting and smudges. No dust jacket. This is supposedly the story, as told to a minister, of the perils of alcohol abuse and the effects on the family.. Hard Cover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
