Spine has a few very small nicks and scrapes and a small area at the top of the spine that is faintly discolored. The wooden covers, which are apparently cedar, are covered on the outside with a lacquer perhaps and have numerous hair like marks that are mostly not visible unless the covers are held at an angle to the light. The lower right square inch or so of the front cover was apparently bumped and though it is not distorted there are six diagonal hair like cracks in the lacquer that are normally visible. About one inch of the inside hinge on the front cover at top and bottom is separated and about a half inch of the hinge on the back cover at the top and bottom. The lower fore edge has two tiny, shallow spots. A few of the pages are creased at the corner, 467 pages, The first half of the book is in Spanish and is profusely illustrate and the second half is a translation of the first half in Italian, French and English.
