Clean hardback tightly bound in blue half leather over blue cloth with gilt titles, 5 raised bands at spine, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed, leather worn at corners & the top 2" missing at the spine (most of title is still present), association inscription dated 1937 on front endpaper, otherwise no inscriptions, foxing & offsetting from plates to some pages but not affecting legibility. [iv] + 504 pages, frontispiece and 5 plates, index. Binders ticket of Wilsons of Cambridge to pastedown. Heavy book .
