Universidad Nacional Autonoma De Mexico, 2005. This is a very good hardcover copy with a fine dust jacket. The top edge of the text block has a faint small brown spot, not visible internally. Otherwise completely clean. Text in Spanish. Max Cetto (1903- 1980) was a German/Mexican architect and teacher who worked in Mexico throughout his life. He studied with Hanz Poelzig in 1920's Berlin. He worked with Richard Neutra on several projects including the Kahn House (1939). He also collaborated with Luis Barragan on the Jardins de Pedregal in Mexico City. Wolfgang Paalen, the surrealist painter, commissioned him to build a house/studio in San Angel in 1944. Illustrated in color and black & white with photographs and drawings on almost every page. He is known to American students from his monograph on Mexican architecture, Modern Architecture in Mexico. Arquitectura moderna en México, from 1961. 10" high X 8" wide, 71 pages.
