About This Item

London: The Readers Library Publishing Company, 1927. First Edition. Good/Very Good. First edition in English. Bound in publisher's red cloth stamped in gilt. Good, with darkening and wear to covers. Binding is a little wonky with glue repairs evident and original glue a little brittle and dried out. Pages toned, previous owner name to title page. Narrow strip at top edge of front free endpaper was roughly cut and is instead attached to the front pastedown. In a Very Good soiled and edge-worn dust jacket, with no mention of this title on the rear flap as called for.
