From a limited edition of 250 total copies, one of 220 copies on Arches paper. 158-pp. volume with preface by Leon Bourgeois describing the social misery of women, with texts from a variety of contributors, including Paul Adam, Léonce Benedite, Eugene Brieux, Léon Frapié, Camille Lemonnier, Pierre Louÿs, Paul Margueritte, Victor Margueritte, Jean Richepin, and Gabriel Séailles.
The highlight of the volume is the 10 original works by Charles Cottet, André Devambez, Abel Faivre, Gaston La Touche, Charles Léandre, Auguste Lepère, Bernard Naudin, Alfred Roll, Steinlen, and Jean Veber. There are also 25 reproductions of works from well-known artists including Carpaccio, Callot, Watteau, Hogarth, Goya, Manet, Degas, Rodin, Toulouse-Lautrect, and others, 35 artworks total.
