The edges of the wraps are slightly darkened & their top corners are very lightly bumped. There are small areas of light staining to the front wrap. Unpaginated. Profuse visual and concrete poems, 1 of them in color. The pages are somewhat darkened. Good. <p>Paper-clipped to the front wrap is a corner of a mailing envelope with Jas Duke's return address penned on the return- address section. Though not indicated here, Duke was sending this copy of the book to Dick Higgins.<p>Jas Heriot Duke [1939-1992] was a cult figure in the Australian performance poetry scene, an Anarchist and political activist and an actor in many underground movies by filmmaker Jeff Keen. He discovered visual and sound poetry, along with the Dada movement, in the sixties. In the late seventies he became an active member of Collective Effort Press and was involved in the publication of this first anthology of Australian visual poetry.
