Bright gitl titles and moose device on front cover, faded gilt titles on dark spine. Top page edges gilt. Folding map plus 60 illustrations, drawings in text and photogrpah plates. Previous owner name and date in a neat hand of the first enpaper. Small damp stain on top edge of first 30 pages. Boards slightly bowed. Please see photos. A thorough study of the moose and old world elk gathered from many sources, guides & sportsmen (F C Selous for one), the author's experiences, and European sources. A number of illustrations form Carl Rungius. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
