Charleston. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1871. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Purple pebbled cloth hardback. Contains several black and white illustrations. End papers are a deep brown. Binding is strong with blindstamping to back and front covers. Double head eagle in gilt to front cover as well as spine. Light sunning to spine but all clearly readable. Front cover has very light fading where something has covered the spine edge. Edges of cover show light wear with boards showing at upper edges. Text edges have very light flecks. No marks. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 861 pages .
