A complete run in 34 issues of the journal of the Italian student movement of the Università Statale di Milano, most issues 16-24 pp., under the editorial direction of Giorgio Colorni followed by Fabio Guzzini, focused on issues related and important to the student movement. Illustrated throughout from photographs and cartoons. Folio. Red cloth boards, original folio and tabloid-size self-wrpps. bound in. Some slight scattered edgewear and browning, small section with masthead clipped from no. 11, overall excellent condition. Milan, 1971-1974. Ex-library stamp from Archivio Anarchico Domenico Gavella to front endpaper, a noted historian, collector, and anarchist. The Movimento Studentesco dell'Università Statale di Milano was one of the most important leftist political organizations in the 1960s and 1970s. Originally affiliated solely with the student movement, the group grew and branched outward beginning in 1968 to include the labor movement and also became concerned with workers' rights. It was led by Mario Capanna and Luca Cafiero, who both went on to have long and noteworthy political careers. Incredibly rare; as of May 2019, WorldCat does not locate a single holding in a North American institution.
