NY: D. Appleton & Company. VG. (1895). 1st Edition. Leather & Cloth. First Edition of Volume One; Text (of two) only, 1/2 bound in brown le ather & black cloth. 5 raised spine bands, gilt lettering, aeg (all ed ges gilt) Folio Size (16.00" X 12.00") 200 pages. This volume contains 25 tipped-in color Typogravures and 25 b&w Photogravure plates along with many in-text vignettes & photo reproductions. A VG copy, the bind ing is in solid condition with just a few small rub marks at the corne rs and spine tips. Contents show a faint water spot at the outer edge of the first 12 pages and another slightly darker water spot to the bo ttom corner of the last 12 pages of text. Otherwise the contents are c lean, tightly bound and unmarked. Volume One only. Shipping costs will be extra for international customers based on the book's weight of 13 pounds. .
