Artwork celebrating English fox-hunting, through depiction of some of the greatest Hunts of that era; with annotations and commentary of the scene depicted. 16 color plates, all tipped-in by hand; additional b/w illustrations - mainly vignettes. In original tan cloth. A good+ copy with paper label on upper cover (some spotting and minor wear to cloth; some foxing and slight browning to endpapers and text margins). No dust jacket. Color, b/w Illustrations.
