Description:
Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1895. Later edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Large 8vo. [3], iv, 1-1024, [3], iv, 5-318 pp. Half sheep over textured purple cloth, spines in five compartments with a black morocco label lettered in gold on the spine. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. A new edition embracing the classical distinctions of words, and the etymological index of Freund's lexicon. Enlarged and improved. With a Latin-English lexicon and an English-Latin lexicon, the latter has a separate title page. Difficult to find in any kind of collectible condition, this is a solid copy. Notable flaking to the spine, corners gently exposed; the first two pages of text show a tiny tear and crease to their bottom right corners.
