It is **SIGNED** directly by Mr. Russo on the title page and dated June 1993. One of the great American novels of the 20th century, Russo's third after Mohawk and the Risk Pool. It is also one of the great laugh aloud tales about the lovable scoundrel, Sully. The hardback is Very Good condition with square corners, no lean or marks. The spine shows a slight inward bowing, lightening at each end, including a light spot on the back cloth. There are two pages with minor rippling and a professionally repaired lower page formerly torn, and a pink stain on the top edges that progressed less than an 1/8 mm into the but nowhere near the text. Adapted in 1994 into the classic Paul Newman film, written and directed by Robert Benton, and featuring an all-star cast.
