Biographical Introduction by Jack Alexander. This book was first published in 1946 and the second edition in 1947, when Rockwell was at the height of his fame. This was reissued on the 25th anniversary of its publication. Thirty years of Rockwell's most famous works are included in this volume that offers a pictorial panorama of a growing and changing America. 437 illustrations, 43 in full color.
