About This Item

Warszawa: Leona Pillati. First Edition. Wraps. Stapled. . Fair. N.d., circa 1920. Oblong, 12 by 31.5 cm. Unpaginated, 8 pp., including title page. (Printing only on the rectos.) Satirizing the endless lines experienced by ordinary folk in Poland after the war. Scarce, with only copy found in the National Library of Poland. Heavy wear along edge, with considerable soiling of the front cover. The paper stock was cheap, and so there is also heavy age toning. The illustrations, though, are unaffected by condition issues.
